Much delayed, here is the second, final volume of Studies in Inductive Logic and Probability. Carnap projected the series 1959 as a nonperiodical journal for quick publication of advanced work in inductive logic. A medium for cooperative research, it would replace the abandoned second volume of the work ("Probability and Induction") of which his Logical Foundations of Probability (1950) was to have been Volume I, and in which The Continuum of Inductive Methods (1952) was to have been part of Volume II. ...
